She participated in various events and recitals during her studies and played in an all city piano duet festival directed by the European conductor, Maestro Storm Bull. At thirteen, Ms. Isberg became the assistant accompanist for Eastside Church of the Nazarene and later became the principal accompanist at 17.

She worked as an entertainer ( pianist/vocalist) for ArtReach, a non-profit that specialized in bringing the arts to institutionalized audiences. At that time she also began teaching piano  and opened a piano studio in her home in North Denver. During this time she continued her studies at the University of Colorado at Denver, where she received a Master's Degree in Education in 1986.

After moving to Pagosa Springs, Colorado in 1986 to teach high school world languages, she began once again to teach piano in her home studio. She relocated to her present home in 2005 where she established her current studio. In 2010 she became the accompanist for the Pagosa Springs High School choir.
